Price, hidden fees, locks not working,, Noise.

When I arrived at the hotel I was immediately hit with resort fee charges that were not listed or explained elsewhere. Because my Visa card is also a debit card I was charged another $25 that now I have to wait 10 days to get back (I hope anyway). Thank God I was upgraded to Ocean Side because if I had been looking at the parking lot of this old dump I would have really been upset. ...read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Remodel seemed to have been poorly done, there were already broken tiles in the bathroom.

Overall this was a great hotel. It is right near the entrance to Jekyll Island with a view of the sandy beach. It is obvious that the hotel was recently remodeled but there are signs that it was not done well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Scenic view, grounds were kept nicely. The pool area needed remodeling.

There was a metal strip with a nail protruding out on the inside of the entrance door to the room. It was very dangerous since we had children.

Great hotel for the price, room was massive, view was nice, and although the room could have used a few repairs it was a decent place.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location by the ocean.

Dirty rooms, bathrooms, and linens/ towels, inhospitable staff.

This hotel was not clean upon arrival- towels were dirty and stained, there was mold on the shower curtain and hair in the shower drain and toilet, and the room was in general not clean or sanitary. The fact that I got a room with an "ocean view."

Room was dirty; front desk clerks were impolite.

I would never pay this kind of rate for this hotel - not again. Live and learn.
